In the world of pressure washers, the Karcher brand is number one best selling. This new pro series Karcher G 3200 Gas Pressure Washer promises to be cleaner and quicker than the competition. It is powerful enough for the professional handyman, yet simple enough for around the house maintenance.

Features:

Some notable features include the professional-grade three-piston crankshaft (triplex) pump and the professional-grade unloader valve. These, in conjunction with the Karcher KXS 196cc engine, create a powerful jet of water, capable of cleaning all tight nooks and crannies. The Karcher G 3200 is not only good for basic yard cleanup, but also for tough mildew stains and tile scum. Along with it’s 3200 PSI, it can make easy work of just about anything including concrete driveways.

The quick connect 25ft steel-braided rubber high-pressure hose combined with the pneumatic tires and metal wheels allow the user to get hard to reach places comfortably. Moreover, although the washer is 69.5 pounds, the wheels make transporting the machine much easier.

Pros:

Whether your yard is big or small, there will always be those hard to reach places. The 25ft hose is perfect for reaching into tight areas such as awnings and gutters. The Karcher G 3200 power washer also boasts a durable 18 gauge welded frame, coated with powder to resist corrosion. Given the investment needed to purchase this power washer, rust resistant coating does ease the mind regarding the longevity of the machine.

3200 PSI at 2.5 GPM is more than enough power to get just about anything done around the house and this machine is even capable to be used in commercial applications.

Another great feature is the free two-year warranty. If this machine, for whatever reason fails within two years of purchase, the Karcher Company will either fix or replace the machine. Accidents happen all the time, feel assured in knowing your investment is secured, after all, that’s what warranties are for.

Cons:

First, the Karcher G 3200 is somewhat expensive as it retails for $450 on Amazon.com, which is a hefty price for a gas pressure washer. Secondly, the start-up process is also bit complicated. Although this machine is quite powerful, it takes a lot of work to get it started (compared to other push button start models and electric pressure washer models). Yard work is already daunting; a slow start-up can dishearten even the most enthusiastic worker.

Lastly, the maintenance. This is a con that I write in just about every gas pressure washer review that I do. You have to take care of gas engines. They are not as easy as electric models. Maintain them correctly and they will last a very long time. This includes changing the oil, applying pump saver, and any other specifics that are in the manual.

Is It Worth It?

To conclude, of course, this power washer is worth the investment. The price point might dissuade some people, but the two-year warranty should not be ignored. Given the pros and cons, this washer has earned a solid 4.0/5.0, star rating and is definitely worthy of consideration!

Cleaning with a pressure washer can be tough work and time consuming, but it doesn’t have to be if you have the right tools. A surface cleaner is an excellent time saver, and if you anything like me you will understand the words “Time is Money.” I need a surface cleaner for my large concrete driveway and through my research I put together a list of the best surface cleaners for pressure washers. Below you will find a comparison table of the top surface cleaners I have seen.

So what is a surface cleaner?

Fist off let me tell you that the surface cleaner is on the top of my list of best pressure washer accessories. This pressure washer attachment that allows you to clean up to 4 times faster than using a standard spray and nozzle. The circular accessory ranges in size, but the most popular models are around 15″.

So how does it work?

You simply attach your pressure washer wand to the unit via the quick connect coupler system. When you press the trigger water is pushed out in a spinning motion aimed down at the floor and in contained inside the unit. Trapping the water in small tight space and moving it around quickly leaves a streak-free surface. Now just use the cleaner in a vacuuming or sweeping type motion and you will be done cleaning in no time.

Types of surface cleaners

This comparison and review is for home use surface cleaners. There are many different commercial grade units out there that are a lot more efficient, a lot larger, and cost a lot more money. If you are starting a business and need a commercial grade unit, I would give one of these a try first to see how they hold up and if they meet your expectations. You may be surprised!

Pros:

Extremely efficient. Will get you cleaning job does about 4x faster.
has quick connect couplers to fit almost any pressure washer lance.
They are not that expensive. Well worth the money!
Works on concrete, pavers, patios, decks, sidewalks, and more.

Cons:

Will leave marks in the concrete or wood if you leave it in 1 spot for too long. I was cleaning my driveway and noticed a few circles the next day. Luckily you can easily buff those out usually by just going over that spot again.
You will most likely need to invest in a longer wand to save your back. Most pressure washers have a small lance.

Surface Cleaner Reviews (2015)

Review of PowerFit PF31023 – This would have to be my number 1 choice and my go to surface cleaner. It works wonderfully and is very similar to the Yamaha which I will review next. Cleaning my concrete driveway with just a standard nozzle took me hours to do and was very tedious. Once I snapped on this cleaner I was instantly amazed. There is so much torque you feel like you could get blown away. It makes cleaning fun and very easy as long as you have a wand that fits your height. You do not want to be bending over using this. Your back will be extremely sore the next morning. I made that mistake the first time. After I got a lance extension I was completely satisfied.

I would give the PowerFit surface cleaner 5 stars if it was a bit cheaper. I know its not that expensive when you think about how much time you save but I really think this device should sell for around $49.95.

Review of Yamaha ACC-31056-00-13 – Basically this is the exact same model as the PowerFit PF31023. Yamaha came out with the model first and private labeled it for other companies. I know Home Depot has the same model in Red called the EZ Clean.

The Reason that I rank the Yamaha under the Powerfit is due to price. You can get the exact same model for cheaper. However since this is a more well know brand and is considered the original you may want to pay the difference in price. For me is was better to save the money and get 2 day free shipping with Amazon Prime. Depending on the price of the 2 just get the one that is cheaper. You will not be disappointed at these are the best pressure washer surface cleaners out right now.

Review of Briggs & Stratton 6328 – When I fist heard of and saw a surface cleaner this was the model. I think of it as the original surface cleaner even though there has been models out before it. The Briggs and Stratton 6328 is a very high quality unit that offers a superior way to clean all the surfaces around your home with out getting overspray all over. However, this model is just 14″ and the newer models above will cover more ground faster as they are 15 inches in size. Briggs and Stratton is an excellent company with excellent customer service. if you are interested in trying this model out, go for it! They will take care of you if anything goes wrong.

Review of Karcher T350 and Karcher T250 – I am going to go ahead and combine my review of the Karker T350 and T250. These are so similar that I can go over the differences for you here. The T250 is a lower end unit that is about half the cost of the T350 due to its 11″ size vs 12″ Karcher has made the T250 compatible with all Karcher consumer electric pressure washers and will not work with other brands unless modified. The T350 on the other hand is compatible with all Karcher Gasoline pressure washers rated at 2400-2650 PSI. Unless you have a Karcher pressure washer I would just skip over these models.

Review of AR Blue Clean Deck, Patio & Flat Surface Cleaner – Again this is another brand specific pressure washer and not a universal model. If you have an electric AR Blue Clean Pressure washer like the best selling AR383, than this is the surface cleaner you need. Granted it is only 10″, it is still a major time saver. It is perfect for cleaning patios, decks, and driveways, but most of those jobs usually require a more powerful gas unit to get them super clean. If you are currently using an electric pressure washer to clean your deck, than this attachment is just for you. It cleans very nicely and is well worth the money. Remmeber that this unit will only work with specific AR units out of the box so be careful. You may need to purchase an adapter to get it to work with other models. Just attach it and use it like a vacuum and you will notice results in no time. It is inexpensive and is about 3 to 4 times faster than just using the spray wand.

Conclusion:

If you are thinking of purchasing a surface cleaner my only advice to you would be do it right away. Once you try it you will be so pleased with the time you save and how much cleaner your area will be. Everyone that I have talked with said that they wish they would of got one sooner. When it comes to choosing the right pressure washer we have to consider what the best brands are first. If we can determine the best brands we can greatly narrow down our search to finding the best pressure washer. Why does a brand matter? When it comes down to buying any product quality, price, and customer service are the top 3 items on my list to consider.

When you have a quality brand you will most likely get a quality product. I am sure you would rather purchase and drive a car from “Honda” versus a company you never heard of like “50-50 Chance of Dying Motors.” Could you really trust this company to get you safely from point A to B? Knowing a reputable brand will usually lead you to reputable and great quality products. However, this is why we have reviews. Not every single Honda is going to be a perfect product. They may have a bad on here and there. On the other hand not every no name product is going to be a crappy product either. Companies have to start somewhere and build a well know brand name.

What are the best uses for Electric Pressure washers?

Electric pressure washers are great for light duty work around the house. They limited in the power that they can produce but are also a lot less noisy. They are best used for washing cars, cleaning patio chairs, and washing light stains.

Types of electric pressure washers:

So what types of electric pressure washers are there? Really there are mainly 2 different styles. You have your stationary models and you have movable models. Most of the electric pressure washers you see with either be stationary or have 2 wheels so you can easily move it around. There is one odd one however and that is the Karcher K.3000 follow me model. This model is the first of its kind and only one that I know of that has 4 wheels that follows you. So many times you will want to move around your pressure washer and it falls over. With the follow me model you can move around fully without having to go pick it up off the floor.

Pros and cons of Electric Pressure Washers:

Pros: Very efficient as they use hardly any water. They are very quiet. They require very little maintenance. They are usually extremely lightweight.

Cons: Not very powerful. Most electric models are rated under 2500 PSI. This is just not enough power to get some of those tough areas clean. You are limited to the length of the power cord. I know you can get a bunch of super long extension cords, but that can be a hassle. Most of them use cheap plastic parts and over time can fail and cause leaks. Speaking of leaks, water and electricity do not go well together so they can also be very dangerous if you are not careful.

AR Blue Clean AR118 Review – If you are looking for something super small that you can fit just about anywhere this is the pressure washer to get. After reviewing the 5 models above I would have to say that the Sun Joe SPX3000 is the best electric pressure washer available today. Value your Needs. 1st things first. Decide on what type of projects you are going to be doing. Small household tasks can be done by a basic electric pressure washer. Simple cleaning around the house does not require a machine with a ton of power and specs. A lower cost electric machine will be able to get those jobs done. However, if you are looking to do jobs faster and clean deep stains you may need more power. Take pressure washing a concrete driveway for example. An electric pressure washer usually does not have enough power to get deep stains out of concrete. You will need something with more PSI, and to get more PSI you need to have a gas engine. 2800+ PSI is recommend to power wash a concrete driveway.
Are you going to be using the pressure washer for you business? You may want to get a commercial grade unit right away. They have higher quality parts and are built to last a lot longer than consumer grade pressure washers.
PSI and other Features. This goes with valuing you needs, but you have to determine what type of job you will be doing and how much PSI you need to complete it. Remember it is important that you choose the best washer you can afford. Again, you may be able to get away with an electric pressure washer to clean you deck and car, but you may need more power to completely strip the old paint from your deck in order to reseal it.
