When it comes to choosing a pressure washer, you may find it difficult to determine what model is the best bang for the buck and which model will handle all of your cleaning tasks. We have reviewed a lot of different Sun Joe electric pressure washers and today we will take a look at and review the Sun Joe SPX3500. I will also mention that there is a SPX3501 model as well and the only differences are the price and the SPX3501 includes a Hose Reel.

While the Hose Reel is a nice addition to help with storage. It baffles me as to why Sun Joe came out with 2 different models that are essentially the same. You are paying about $20 more to get the Hose Reel on the SPX3501 model.

So what is it going to be the SPX3500 vs the SPX3501? Our choice is to go with the SPX3500 and save that $20 and put it towards an upgraded accessory. For this review we will focus on the Sun Joe SPX3500, but keep it mind the unit is basically the same as the Sun Joe SPX3501.

Cons

As will all electric pressure washers, this may not be powerful enough to get certain stains out. You may have to use a gas model if you need something with more power.
The connections are plastic: This is a persistent problem in residential pressure washers these days, and it is one that I would like producers to take the initiative to fix. The connections where the water pipes are connected are made of plastic with wire, which is not sturdy. As a result, they tend to develop little holes over time. Brass fittings would be far superior in this case.

Pressure washers are everywhere on the map when it comes to energy and prices, and choosing the right model can be a challenge. It’s about knowing what to expect. In general, gas models offer more power than electric models, so what can you expect from The Power Products USA Electric Pressure Washer?

We start by setting some expectations. 2300 PSI puts this model in the light to medium category, so this is the kind of application I will see. The electric pressure washers of this range are intended for owners together with some professionals who know the need for a smaller additional tool for their large gas models. So I do not expect this pressure washer to do what I ask in my 3,000 PSI unit.

As a pressure washer for homeowners, this is a great option. However, this unit will not get out really tough stains like gas engines. For homeowners who have longer routes or larger buildings to maintain, you may wish to upgrade to a higher-end gas model to achieve the desired result. I will rate this 7/ 10
