For the longest time, I have been using a regular garden hose to clean my car and the shed I have in my backyard. After being “inspired” by those hoses they use in car washes, I wanted to get one myself. My wife told me that it’s just a waste of money since I can use a brush to thoroughly clean the shed and a rag to get rid of the dirt on my car but she won’t really understand because it’s just so tiring! I just want my own pressure washer, and I was determined to get one. I looked for pressure washers that are gasoline-operated because I thought that’s a good option but when I came across the AR Blue Clean AR390SS, I was thrilled to find that it was way below my $400 budget for the washer. You see, my wife and I compromised. For as long as I promise I won’t go to the car wash and wash both our cars until I saved $400 or whatever the value of the washer was, then she’ll be fine with it. So far, I’ve been using this electric pressure washer for over 3 months, and I’m still not at that budget limit but I’m enjoying it! I am writing this review because I want to share with you my experience with this power washer so you can probably convince your wives too that it’s perfect.
Well, it’s not exactly perfect of course. It’s not like I can use the AR Blue Clean electric pressure washer and just sit and wait until everything is clean. That’s what would make it perfect. But seriously, though, I love how its hose reel doesn’t need to be pulled all the way out in order for me to use it. It’s long enough though, so I can use as much as I need. I also appreciate the fact that it has a storage area where I can keep brushes, scrubs and other things. This is the spot where I place my waterproof Bluetooth speakers too! That doesn’t come with the package though, but it’s cool to listen to great music while doing my chores.
Getting down into the main features – It produces 1900 PSI. That is very close to what an entry level gas powered pressure washer would produce. Basically this is the main reason I got this one. I wanted to get a lot of power out of an electric model. It also uses just 1.4 gallons of water which is great because I hate wasting water and having to pay a high water bill.
Some of the other features include:
I loved how it’s so functional, and the AR390SS pressure washer just gave a whole new meaning to car wash time. I used to wash the shed in our backyard maybe once a year. I washed it twice in the last three months just because I wanted to try out the AR Blue Clean electric pressure washer again. I also love how with a simple flip of a button, I can adjust soap usage and the water pressure. I guess I’m saving water as compared to just using my regular garden hose. The only thing I don’t like about it though is that it comes with a regular black rubber hose. I expected something cooler like the braided version in the pictures.
Also this thing works wonders on my concrete driveway. It did take a long time to do and next time I will have a surface cleaner and probably a gas powered washer, but for the money I paid and the convenience of not having to deal with gas, I was impressed. Check out the before and after pictures…
I would love to give the AR Blue Clean AR390SS 5 stars if the hose was braided, but since it’s not, I’d give it 4 stars. I will probably buy a better hose down the road, but it really would of been nice of them to keep the braided style like they have in their “OLD” pictures. Overall, considering it’s my first electric pressure washer, and I have no point of comparison really, I’d say it’s a good start for me. It looks pretty sturdy too so I’m sure I’d have it working for the next few years.
